Chloe/Arthur & Chloe/Lancelot
STORY: (Modern Day) Womanizer Arthur Pendragon thinks he's half mad because everynight he dreams that's he's King Arthur or the legends...and most specifically...he dreams of his queen, Guinevere. But one day, as he leaves one of his many conquests, he's shocked when he sees a girl who looks just like his queen/wife in his dreams. He has more and more dreams of "Guinevere" after then, and then later sees the modern-day version of her once again at an elegant dinner a couple of nights later, and is actually seated next to her. He stares into her eyes, besotted, and introduces himself. They start going out together, quickly falling in love. The problem is that Arthur's old lifestyle comes to bite him in the butt, in the form of one of his old conquests, and although he initially says no he ends up sleeping with this girl, and Chloe catches him in the act, breaking her heart and ending the relationship. Arthur tries to mask his fear of losing her by pretending it was nothing, sure that with a rose, some food, and an apology she'll forgive him. Chloe doesn't, closing the door on his face. Now Arthur is haunted by memories of his Chloe/Guinevere, tormented by her image, but decides to respect her need of time to heal, deciding he'll prove himself changed to her and that he'll convince her to forgive him, because he truly does love her. But while Chloe's having her time to heal, she's out on a walk at night and is attacked by a mythical beast---and is saved by a dashing man on a horseback, a modern-day knight who battles fabled evil...and said brave knight's name is Lancelot. Arthur has to watch from afar as Chloe and Lancelot become closer, obviously attracted to each other. And then Arthur remembers how even in their past life Chloe/Guinevere had had feelings for Lancelot, and how it killed Arthur to realize it. He tries to take his anger and frustration out boxing, but can't, all he can think about is how happy he was with Chloe, and it makes him cry. In the end Chloe returns home from a date with Lancelot to find Arthur sitting in the lobby, waiting for her.
