chloe---sexy towel scene

Title: Toxic
Sequel to: Paradise Interrupted
Pairings: Chloe/Sam, Chloe/Lex
Rating: T+
Disclaimer: Don't own
Summary: Two years later, Chloe runs into Sam, and he just doesn't know what to make of the dangerous bitch she's become. But her bad attitude and edgy clothes aren't what he has the most trouble adjusting to. Lex Luthor is.

Dean Winchester jolted up in bed, eyes wide, sleep completely gone. "What do you mean you've found her?"

His flavor of the week grumbled in the bed and turned around, bending the pillow around her head to block out the sound.

That annoyed him.

"I found her, Dean, or she did me. She was having car trouble and it landed her at the garage I was working in."

Dean was out of bed and gone to the bathroom, turning on the shower. "Was she with him? Is she okay? Was she hurt?"

There was a pause.

Dean frowned, looking at his reflection in the mirror as he turned on the lights, glaring at the cellular in hand. "Sam?"

"There's-Dean-I need you to keep this information to yourself for right now." His brother's voice was tired. "Things have taken an unexpected turn and I don't know how to take it, much less how to break it to the others right now."

"What's wrong, Sammy?"

There was another pause. "She's not like she was, Dean. She-she's gone through-she's had to do-." Sam's voice broke. "Dean, if she hadn't killed that bastard I would have done so with my own hands!"

Dean put down the cover of his toilet and sat down. "She killed him."

"Yes. The moment she got the collar removed." Sam sounded close to breaking point. "But by that time he'd already fucked up her mind and made her an addict to some personality altering drug."

"She's a junkie?" Dean whispered, horrified, remembering the tiny little girl he'd cared for like a little sister.

"In the worst way possible." Sam sighed. "I-I'm with her...guardian...now. I-."

"Where are you?" Dean stood up once again.

"Give me specific directions, Sammy." Dean ordered, beginning to disrobe. "I'm on my way."

Sam ran his hand over his hair and turned at the sound of the door finally opening, and Lex Luthor emerged from the room he'd been in with Chloe for about an hour. He didn't seem relaxed and sated, as a man would be after filling himself with the pleasures of the flesh, so that gave Sam a moment's peace, though it was very little. He'd wanted to go into that room over and over again, but he had a feeling that Mercy wouldn't let him. And she might be a woman, but she was a part of this life, and Sam had never had to fight before.

He might have been called a 'mountain' before, but 'Mercy' had that glint in her eyes that Chloe and Lex did.

The glint that said they'd killed before and could do so again at the drop of the hat if provoked.

It left Sam feeling disoriented and wary.

He didn't like Chloe being in this ambient.

With these people.

He knew...he knew that Chloe had changed, that she was different, had done things, but he'd also known the girl she'd been for four years with them. He remembered the happiness, the innocent smile, the way her eyes sparkled with curiosity and eagerness.

This Chloe was muted, and at times completely dark.

"Have you spoken to anyone about finding Chloe?" Lex asked coolly, rolling up his sleeves.

"My brother." Sam announced slowly. "He's coming here as we speak. It will take a couple of days since he's driving from Lawrence, but..."

Lex turned to Mercy.

The redhead sighed. "I already informed the men while this one was on the phone." She folded her arms over her chest. "Dean Winchester is being picked up as we speak, and will be escorted here on a Luthorcorp jet. He should be here in a matter of hours."

"What?" Sam was shocked that this had been arranged while he was distracted, talking to his brother on the phone. "Dean has a fear of flying."

"That's no problem. He'll probably have been knocked out anyway." Mercy murmured.

Sam frowned, even more worried.

"Don't worry, other than a headache he should be right as rain." Mercy announced.

Suddenly something in the room Chloe had been left in exploded.

Sam jerked.

Lex and Mercy shared looks before Lex motioned with his head towards the room.

He didn't need to, Mercy was already on her way towards it, entering cautiously before closing the door behind her.

"Is Chloe alright?" Sam asked, taking a step towards the room.

Lex raised a hand, dark gaze stopping the younger man in his tracks. "You and I are going to talk, Winchester."

Having expected this since he'd been told to come, Sam took in a deep breath and raised his chin.

Lex raised an eyebrow, eyeing him for a moment, before speaking. "From Chloe's own lips, and from the records my father had of her and the other test subjects lives while under your family's care those four years, I know that you took care of her." He paused. "You mustn't be able to recognize her. She has...changed...since then I suppose."

"Yes, she has, but she's still the same girl." Sam frowned.

Lex snorted, darkly amused. "I mightn't have known Chloe before, but I can assure you, she is not the same person."

Something else exploded.

Sam frowned, turning towards the room. "What' s going on in there?"

Lex sighed, sitting down once more. "While under the influence of the red meteor rock she can be...destructive."

Before Sam could ask anything else, the lights dimmed and took on a red tint.

Lex looked up, eyes narrowing. "Go behind the desk."

"What?" Sam frowned.

"Now." Lex hissed towards him.

Confused, Sam did as said, feeling stupid.

And then he heard the shots being fired outside the doors.

"Oh fuck!" He hissed, ducking behind the desk.

Lex went to stand in the middle of the room, and the doors were kicked in, the bodies of the men guarding falling in first before twenty men stormed in, all heavily armed, all aiming their guns at the young redhead.

"Luthor." One of the men stood forwards. "Your security was very lax."

"I wasn't expecting a visit." Lex announced calmly. "So, tell me Vince, to what do I owe your order stinking up my room?"

"You sure have a lot of mouth for someone surrounded and unarmed." Vince sneered, motioning towards the man on his right.

The man stepped towards Lex.

In a movement Sam nearly missed from where he was watching hidden behind the desk, Lex drew a blade from a hidden pocket inside his vest and threw the blade, causing the metal to embed itself in the man's throat.

He fell to the ground, dead.

"Not as unarmed as you would expect." Lex declared conversationally.

Vince growled. "You five!"

The five pointed to surged towards Lex.

His reflexes were amazing, as two more blades flew out, one embedding itself in one man's heart, and the other in his forehead. And then Lex ducked and twirled, foot connecting with the shin of the one who'd reached him first, causing him to fall to the ground. Lex followed him down and stabbed him in the chest with another blade before raising up in time to block the kick aimed towards him, instead grabbing the leg and swinging its owner into his other attacker. As the two stumbled to the ground, two more blades flew down and embedded in one of the man's groin, and in the other's neck.

Lex then turned towards the others, who had all cocked their guns.

Vince sneered. "Checkmate."

Lex chuckled. "You keep forgetting that in chess, the King isn't the only big player."

Everyone turned as the door was thrown open.

Chloe stood in a change of clothes, this time wearing a long, tight black dress. Her hair was up in a tight french braid, and her eyes were lined with darker kohl as she sashayed towards them.

"Chloe!" Sam hissed.

She ignored him, giving Lex a look up and down before walking passed him towards Vince, circling him, ignoring the guns trained on her. The girl stopped in front of Vince and reached for his tie, pulling him down towards her.

Sam watched, confused.

Why wasn't the man doing something?

Like ordering his men to shoot?

Chloe gazed deeply into Vince's eyes, before reaching up, caressing his cheek.

Vince seemed to melt in her touch, leaning into it, expression entranced.

The sixteen year old pulled him down farther, their lips connecting in a hungry kiss.

Sam's eyes narrowed and he shot a glance towards Lex, who looked annoyed and yet not surprised by this.

Chloe pulled away, still eyeing Vince, a serene smile on her face. "Put your gun in your mouth and pull the trigger."

And with a smile on his face, he pulled out his gun and did as told.

Sam's eyes widened as the shot echoed throughout the room, and blood spurted as the man collapsed, dead, on the ground.

The men looked terrified, dropping their weapons as they went to their knees, heads bowed.

"The Witch Queen." Some whispered.

Sam stood slowly, feeling sick as he gazed at the body of the man who'd taken his own life without question after a kiss from Chloe.

The blonde looked at the body, hard, as if forcing herself to take in every detail of it.

Lex stepped up to her, arm going around her shoulder as he turned to the other men. "As you've inconvenienced me by shooting my guards, you'll be taking their place. Anyone with complaints can take it up with my right hand."

Their heads bowed lower.

There was silence.

Sam's eyes narrowed darkly.

Chloe was this guy's weapon.

How was this any better than when she was killing for Lionel?

The only difference was that there was no collar...but her feelings of being in debt were just as much a collar as the real thing had been.

Chloe turned to look at Sam, and her eyes were blank.

Sam stood frozen, remembering seeing a broken, beaten child in a hospital bed, eyes blank.

Oh God.

He was going to be sick.

omg that was omg . so chloe feels in huge debt to lex and is an addict to the red k . why are her eyes black when she uses her powers ? PPMS
30th-Aug-2010 05:25 pm (UTC)
Well, right now she's high on the red!k so her eyes are blank and emotionless, as she's taken on her red!k persona.

uwww...whoa, ok...ummm that was intense! i'm not sure what to say lol. i feel like i need an update to put together some things, so i will say great update! so much so i feel like i need the night to sleep on it because there was so much to take in.
30th-Aug-2010 05:25 pm (UTC)
Haha, hopefully the next update will clear things up...but no promises :P

intense chapter! glad dean is getting in on the action as well. although now i definitely don't like what chloe has going on with lex and mercy. and DEFINITELY like chlam not chlex in this story. i get he's looking after her... but it's chlam! lol and they were so connected! yeah it's far too easy to get caught up in your fics. will sam and dean together be able to talk some sense into chloe and help her? because dean was after all an older brother to her. and she loved sam. twice the sway then, perhaps?

thanks for the update!

I wanted to show Sam a peek of what life is really like for Chloe in Lex's care. So that was why this chapter focused on that. And I also wanted to bring in Dean, so this chapter was dedicated to these two aspects.

A wonderful chapter.

Lex is truly badass in this chapter, and I have a feeling that because neither Dean or Sam have their training as hunters, they are no match for Lex or Mercy.

Sam is right that Chloe's just as much Lex's prisoner as she was Lionel's but the question is, how are Sam and Dean going to help Chloe get away? And will she want to get away?

I have a feelings she thinks she isn't worth saving anymore because of all of the things she's done.

Continued excellent work on this series.
30th-Aug-2010 05:52 pm (UTC)
Well, you wanted a show of how badass Lex was...so I gave it to you :)
EXACTLY! Sam and Dean AREN'T hunters in this universe and don't have any training in fighting, which is a big difference from them in cannon. Good you picked up on that!

I actually think Chloe more of a prisoner in Lex's care than in Lionel's, because she was resentful of Lionel, whereas she feels indebted to Lex, so there's actually LOYALTY on her part.

::groans:: Oh, no, you've done it. I just realized over the course of reading the last two chapters that there wasn't a single moment when I wanted Chloe and Lex to be together.

Whenever I read Chloe/Sam, I always feel there's something missing. I can enjoy the story, but it's never completely satisfying. When Lex is involved, it's a struggle not to want Chloe to end up with him, no matter the pairing in the story and sometimes no matter that he's the villain, but here not only do I not want her with Lex while he's not completely the villain, I am rooting for her to end up with Sam. Not only am I rooting for her and Sam, but I will be happy if or when they end up together. Never.happened.before. Well, maybe in your Choice series, but even there I was still slightly resistant to strictly Chloe/Sam.

Chloe is certainly a handful. I do not envy Lex and Mercy having to deal with her - on or off RedK. There again, it is obviously difficult for Chloe having to deal with so much at such a young age and her behavior is not surprising (even without taking the redK into account), given the circumstances.

I was highly amused by her constant overtures towards Lex as well as his refusal. I loved the scene in Ch. 3 when he told her it would happen soon. Now that Sam is back in the picture, though, I have a feeling that there will come a time when Lex will be sorry he refused her advances.

The elevator scene in Ch. 3....I can't even put into words how I felt about it. Her bewilderment at the changes in Sam is just so....I can't find the words.

Sam. Sam. Poor Sam. This is so much for him to take in at one time. I feel a breakdown coming on soon, especially after watching Chloe dispatch Vince.

I can't wait until Dean arrives! He is going to be livid that they knocked him out and flew him to Vegas. I think his arrival will make the situation that much more tense.

And Lex. You gave me the warm and fuzzies with Lex in this chapter. It's wrong, I know, but the image of him fighting and dispensing of Vince's men was just hot. I enjoy a Lex that can take care of a threat without the use of a gun.

Can't wait to read more!

Wow, I feel so good hearing that. I'm happy that you're completely rooting for Chloe/Sam in this one, even though Lex is in it. And you're right, Chloe is really young and has gone through so much, and it's hard for her to handle---which makes *her* a little hard to handle as well. And you might be right about Lex being sorry for putting it off for so long. And Dean...DEAN...that will be interesting to write. Yay! I got the 'warm and fuzzies' writing Lex in this one...I have a weakness for guys and blades. lol

ok first reaction:DEAN!!!!
second reaction: DEAN BEING KIDNAPPED AND FORCED TO FLY, lmao!! xD
Third reaction, Sam is right! Lex IS using Chloe as his weapon, albeit without the collar. I'm not liking this :(
30th-Aug-2010 06:38 pm (UTC)
Yep, I don't know which Dean is going to be angrier at, what has happened to Chloe, or that they forced him to fly! :)

I think we will have a verrrry pissed off Dean on the next chapter. This people not only had the nerve to use Chloe as a weapon they kidnap him and made him fly. Fly!! =D

I really want to see their reunion. Dean was always more open towards her, in my opinion, maybe because unlike Sam he wasn't fighting a storm of confusing feelings, but I really can see him shaking her up and making her see that yes, she's worth it and she's not defined by the bad things she has done. I think somehow, like Sammy he will be sad about what happened but more inclined to see in gray instead of black-and-white and help her get out of this line of thinking.

Anyway, I loved this chapter. Lex was sexy. Blades and guys is just.. ahhh. I am really liking Mercy and how in her own way she's worried and trying to help Chloe. I really hope we can have some more moments between them.

Humm.. I love Chlex but after this chapter I am more inclined to Chlam. Even if Lex likes her, treating her like a weapon is not nice. He should be trying to help her hung to the little bit of good she still has and not use her to do whatever he is doing. But who knows, maybe he has a good reason. You always find a way to surprise me.

Now I am on the wait for Dean to make his appearance and piss Tess off. I so can see the sparks in their verbal judo :) It was a great chapter. Loving it.
30th-Aug-2010 08:16 pm (UTC)
I know right! FLY! On top of EVERYTHING ELSE! The *nerve* of those people!

Yep, you're right. Dean doesn't have that second-questioning of everything he does around Chloe, because he knows that he does it with the love and protectiveness of an older brother and nothing else.

I know! Men + Blades = Sexy Times. LOL
30th-Aug-2010 08:15 pm (UTC)
Chloe is very dark in this fic. Any softness seems to be almost non existent. I'm wondering is that the RedK addiction or a defense? Either way I'm loving this story and while I'm a little afraid of how dark this could get I can't wait to see where you take this next.
30th-Aug-2010 08:23 pm (UTC)
Yep, it took four years for the Winchester to make the girls somewhat normal, and it took two for Chloe to be reprogramed once more.
30th-Aug-2010 10:01 pm (UTC)
Oh God.

What happens to Chloe once (if!) she ever gets clean?!? Does she keep doing what she's doing? Does she have a break down over what she's done?

And what is she doing exactly? Is her ability to mind-whammy her enemies connected to the GreenK or the RedK?

So many good questions! None that I can answer right now though.
